We are a specialised professional police force, so we recruit people who can fit into a professional team, who can work with people from a variety of backgrounds and who share our commitment to protecting the sites where we are based.

We take equality of opportunity very seriously and recognise, encourage and value diversity. In fact, our Equality and Diversity Steering Group meets every two months. They help to develop, promote and implement initiatives, share examples of good practice and liaise with relevant outside bodies as appropriate.
